First time at a new church can feel intimidating. It's normal to have questions running through your mind- What should I wear? What kind of music do they play? What about my kids?
Whether you were invited by a friend or family member, or found us online, we're excited you're here. Our goal is to make your experience welcoming and as stress-free When you arrive, our door greeters will be happy to help with directions, children check-in, or anything else you might need-we're here to walk with you every step of the way.
Sunday Services at FUPC typically last about 90 minutes and begin at 10:30am. Each service starts with announcements so you can stay up to date with ways to stay involved and connected. Followed by worship that includes a blend of songs ranging from traditional hymns to Christian contemporary. Children are dismissed for Sunday School after the worship portion of the service, and our followed by a sermon from our pastor.
Our services are designed to create an authentic atmosphere where the Holy Spirit can move freely. The sanctuary is a place to encounter Jesus, grow in life-giving community, and experience the transforming power of God. You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

Does it matter what we wear ?
We want you to feel welcome, come as you are! You will see many people choose they want to "dress up" on Sundays, you'll see everything from casual to business suits. Our midweek service is often a lot more casual.

Does FUPC belong to a denomination?
Many times, you see churches that are a part of a denomination, and they're controlled by their teaching. We are associated with a larger fellowship of churches called the United Pentecostal Church, International (UPCI), were we aren't controlled by a denomination we follow the bible directly.
What will their be for children & youth?
At FUPC, we take the job of teaching and looking after your children very seriously. It is our utmost priority to provide a clean and safe environment for them to be taught and make great memories.
We have awesome staff for kids & youth of all ages, with a nursery department, sensory rooms, children and youth classrooms.

Do you have a midweek service?
Yes! Mid-Week Worship & the Word focuses on worship and Bible study. Children's ministry and student ministry are also available. This service starts at 7:00pm on Wednesday and will usually run approximately 1 hour.
What should I do until service starts?
We would love for you to download our app and fill out a connect card, you can also find the connect cards on our website. The QR code on the screen before service and on our connection cards in the foyer can direct you to it.
The sanctuary is open for preservice prayer; you can meet new people or just find a spot and make yourself at home.

How can I be used in ministry?
Maybe you have been in church and just moved here, we want to see God use your gifts to the fullest capabilites! After you feel out the connect card notate that you want to be involved and pastor or the leadership team will reach out to you! Sometimes you might have to reach out to them after service and give them a reminder you put in on the connect card.
How can I get connected beyond Sunday & Wednesday?
We would love for you to Join us for small groups, bible studies, discipleship classes, prayer services, and many more that you can find on our events calendar on the website or app!
What kind of worship do you have?
Our worship is heartfelt, expressive, and centered on Jesus. We sing a blend of songs ranging from traditional hymns to modern christian worship, creating an atmosphere where people can freely worship and respond to God's presence. You'll see people worship in different ways-some singing quietly, others lifting their hands, clapping, or praying-but there's no pressure to participate in any way you're not comfortable with.
Will I be asked to do anything or singled out?
No. You are welcome tp simply attend, observe, and experience the service at your own pace. You will never be singled out, called on, or pressured to participate in anything. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable, respected, and at home while you experience worship and the message.
